The
Right Caregivers Can Make All the Difference
ElderWise caregivers are trained to work for
you and with you to provide the assistance desired
and needed. One caregiver is assigned as the
regular caregiver, with another ready as a replacement
for respite.
Handling
Emergencies
ElderWise caregivers are current in CPR and First
Aid, and have been trained to
handle emergencies. Assistance with personal
care is provided, if needed, and great care is
given to prevent a fall.
Home
care and Meals
The home is kept neat and attractive, and nutritious
meals are prepared and shared with the older
person to maximize good nutrition.
Getting
Around Town
Transportation for appointments, shopping and
recreation is provided, using the
caregiver's vehicle or your own.
Employee
Screening
ElderWise carefully screens applicants through
personal interviews and by conducting background
checks, including fingerprint checks and driving
records.
Intensive
Training Course
Each caregiver completes and intensive, 80-hour
course that ensures a firm
understanding of the skills and issues of caregiving.
Flexible
Availability
ElderWise caregivers are available as live-in
caregivers, as 24-hour caregivers for a few days,
or by the hour. Our rates are designed to be
more economical as more care is needed.
